Glimpses of memories

When we sewed the memory squares from my friend's funeral together I brought home the scraps. Over the last couple of evenings I've joined them up to make a cushion cover. Still needs ironing, layering & quilting but I like it & it reminds me of the long hours of choosing fabric, sewing together, & learning new skills. Not to mention sharing those with her husband & my friend - some interesting looks when the 3 of us turned up to classes . This cover has her straight lines & my randomness
