Potatoes

Exciting! Maris Peer second earlies in the ground, as well as garlic, and a good long stretch to get work done.

Exciting! look at those long flappy new mudguards.  I've been dreaming about mudguards for a long time. 

Exciting!  There's a whole rest of the bike too.  Mean commuting machine  - a bell, disk brakes, only 9 gears (no front derailleur).  Etc. 

I do feel a bit disloyal to the old bike, but I figured I didn't want to do another winter with it, and then decided that I didn't want to get a new bike just before the winter, then that it would be nice to have it before the summer....
