Forest Reefs Sunset

A very good friend owns this charming acreage property at a place called "Forest Reefs" just south east of Orange, NSW. It had been a long drive west and various other things had demanded our attention, such that the first photographs that I actually shot this day were immediately after our final arrival. It was already about 20 minutes too late for decent pictures of Hereford cattle or sheep grazing in the late afternoon glow - that's what I'd really wanted.

As we pulled up to the homestead, all that was left was the sunset itself, hurriedly snatched in the form that you now see. From having been a sunsetless photographer a few days ago, my journal now begins to positively BULGE with them. Anyway ... it's a blip I suppose.
