TAKE A SEAT:

Under the maple here & I will bring you a cup of tea. (and a piece of shortbread !) it has been green all year, but now I call it 'blushing red'. From this vantage point you can see down the lawn & across to the maples on the other side.
The rain failed to materialise & now it's a beautiful afternoon, warm & still.
