GOTCHA!

Took an early walk down to the River Don to look for otters and as I walked across Persley Bridge I spotted an otters snout cruising up the river. Then there was an almighty splash which initially I thought was 2 otters playing/fighting but turned out to be the Otter taking a salmon that was easily the same size as its self! I watched as it struggled towards the shore with it and eventually the stuggle in the reeds subsided and here it came with its prize. The family will eat well today!
