Bailey Bridge
I promised myself a walk on a local nature reserve, so long as I was good first and went to the tip. They check your car now to see what you're tipping and charge for things like rubble and hardcore.
The bridge is a Bailey Bridge, put there in memory of Sir Donald Bailey (a colleague of my father) who designed these portable bridges for use in World War Two.
Why can I only ever find a suitable wide-angle shot after Wide Angle Wednesday?
