Abstract Thursday: Monochrome

Ingeborg has suggested that we do a monochrome blip for Abstract Thursday today. She particularly emphasised that this doesn't necessarily mean "Black and White" - just varying densities of one colour.

Cherry blossom is featuring quite widely on Northern Hemisphere blips at the moment and this year I haven't yet blipped ours which is currently in full bloom - so I thought I'd base my blip on our cherry tree blossom, using multiple exposures and removing all colours except pink (not a big job! - just the odd green colour). But I felt that the pink was then rather oversaturated, so I reduced it by blending in Photoshop with a black-and white version to achieve a more delicate effect.
