Centaurea Montana

AKA the perennial cornflower.  Spotted this lone flower while walking the dogs this morning.

I had the dogs longer than usual today so we enjoyed two walks ...... the first one round the loch at the Heritage Park and then in the afternoon L came along to take one of the leads and we went to Pollok Park.

The extra photo is the dogs comparing the lengths of their tongues as we rested on our walk round the loch. Poppy bring the fearless leader actually dragged her sister into the water to cool off a bit.
