Salzburg
We both enjoyed a run, one after the other this morning - it's such a great way to get your bearings. After breakfast it was time for a day of serious exploring and it didn't bother us that the weather was a bit dodgy!
We wandered down a beautiful street known as Getreidegasse which is lined with shops before reaching No. 9 which is the house in which Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born, on 27th January 1756. It was quite interesting (ok, me and Dex found it a little boring but sshhh!). From here we went to the Cathedral which was very impressive and we somehow managed to coincide it with a visiting choir who sounded incredible. From the Cathedral we discovered a 'hidden' cemetery which was so well kept. After a rest at the hotel we went back to explore the Catacoombs and then we took the funicular up to the fort. More stunning views (see blip above!) and a look at some of the museums before we headed back down into town and went for a curry. Yum!
