Abstract Thursday - Reeds in the Wind

I found this monochrome challenge quite interesting as you were never sure just how things were going to turn out, so I took a load of subjects and just tried playing with them. In the end this rather impressionistic shot got my vote - a straight shot of reeds wafting in the wind though in the original everything was quite crisp with hardly any motion blur. I've introduced movement through adding various layers incorporating different types of blur from the filter menus then controlled it by reducing the opacity of the upper layers. I wanted to retain some semblance of the original image but allowing the overall ambience to be one of wafting movement.
