Looking Up!

I visited a beautician at a local hotel this afternoon.......the salon was closed when I arrived, and so I waited for it to open.....
why might it be closed at 4pm?....
.....the answer is the "Siesta"....
It is still normal for businesses, in Spain, to close for 2-3 hours, at midday.......as a long term resident, I know about Siesta time......and accept it as a fact of life.
While waiting for the opening.......I looked up....saw this striking structure, and considered...."What an attractive Fire Escape stairway this is"......"let's hope it never has to be put into use"
