Anemone blanda

A day spent helping my brother with various jobs round his garden.  The obvious candidate for blip was the flowers around the garden.

This little Wind Flower was growing in a large drift and the lovely pale lilac appealed to me  so this is today's choice.

The garden varieties seem to be from SE Europe/Turkey/Lebanon/Syria sort of area rather than being related to our own Wood Anemone and yet they are remarkably similar, but is Anemone nemorosa.
