Peppa pig!!
What a day! Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World have kept the whole family thoroughly entertained and thrilled today.
We got down to the park for mid morning ready for Rosie's birthday treat and Peppa visit. We started in Peppa Pig world and she couldn't believe it - all the Peppa things come to life. We went on the windy castle ride, and Grandpa Pigs boat and train rides and then did playground meet and greet Peppa & George & had some lunch. C then declared he'd seen quite enough of Peppa pig and was desperate to try the wave rider ride!
So T & C headed off to find the scary big boys rides while R & I enjoyed the sedate world of PP complete with singing tunes! We went on quite a few more rides together, the playground and the shop and then headed over to see what the boys were up to.
We have created a complete daredevil in C. He went on every rollercoaster in the park twice! apart from the one he is too small for. I went on the Cobra with him and was terrified - the log flume was good but I got soaked! The rides kept coming. C's favourite was one that thundered over the heads of people around the park and that you rode with your legs dangling free. Terrifying and he loved it! Thank goodness T was as keen.
I dragged them off to try out the much quieter train ride around the park with R and I before a last dash back to PP world where we managed 5 rides in the last half an hour.
What a fab day - I couldn't believe how much we packed in and got on. We were there until closing time and even the sun came out.
We had dinner at the local pub and then drove home and it was straight to bed - exhaustion and happy birthday treat all round!
