Easter Sunday at last a trip to the small by perfectly formed Smailholm Tower. First owned by very distant relatives of mine, the Pringle family ( no relation to the crisps) but a childhood spot of Sir Walter Scott recovering from polio. Magical place with views all over the Borders.
Perfect spot for our egg rolling so four wildly decorated eggs got tossed and then celebrated with steak and chips and big Easter egg hunt at Granny Vals ...much more like it for the easter holidays.
Back to the toil in the morning.
