The boy who never grew up...

J M Barrie's older brother died in a skating accident the day before his 14th birthday - and became for his mother "the boy who never grew up". The book is famously full of ambiguities - maybe reflecting Barrie's own feelings about his brother. Peter can be winning, bossy, keen for love, nasty and selfish.

Another hot, sunny day in London town. I have to work tonight.
