Flower Friday - Clematis Montana
Most of the day has been spent either in hospital or in shopping for a weekend of house guests. Could have gone both ways, and we packed an overnight bag for Janet just in case... The 'something not quite right' alarm, is gently tinkling in the background, and we're waiting to see what today's scan reveals. But they let her out again so we must be fairly ok.
Flower Friday is a cluster of the Clematis Montana that stretches some eleven metres or so along one of the back garden fences.
I had to move some of it out of the way yesterday when I plumbed in the 1m3 IBC to the front gutter downpipe. Some of you may remember I got the IBC to hold the fish last year while I rebuilt and expanded the pond. It's now our second water butt; both front and back gutters are now feeding our watering needs and we ought to be able to ride out most of the dry spells once it fills up.
