The great bird rescue

Rochester to meet up with the rest of our clicker, 12 of us in total. Castle and Cathedral first then on to a country park. Anthea and myself went for a walk round the coastal area and got talking to two woman there with their children. Anthea then noticed a sea gull struggling in the rocks to take off and it was obvious it was caught up, the tide was coming in and it was sure to drown. One of the ladies didn’t estate, off came her shoes and socks and in she went to rescue the gull. It was caught up in some fishing line and hooks, they took it to the vets to get the hooks removed and one of them took it for a day before going to release it. Waiting to hear the final outcome.
