Woodland cemetery

near Norwich, a friend had died last autumn and her ashes were interred today at an emotionally moving ceremony. Plots for the departed or their ashes are scattered at random amongst the trees with a carved wooden tribute marking each spot, contrasting with the usual system of geometrically organised rows of graves marked by headstones.

A sad day - in part but also a celebration and thanks for a life well-lived.
