Hailes Abbey

I diverted via this small but interesting Cistercian Abbey on my journey to Cardiff today. The weather was dull and grey but dry and the traffic reasonable with no terrible holdups. I am here​ for the Spring meeting of the Visual Arts group of the Royal Photographic Society and, over the few years I have been attending the group, I have got to know several of the people. So far we have had one speaker presenting his work- he almost entirely used a narrow letterbox format which was interesting but I am not convinced it is always the best.
