Solar Powered Puss

My Dear Fellow,

One of the nicest things about the Stockbridge flat is how much light it gets. The landlady told me she actually had an extra window put in for just that reason and it really pays off.

As you can see, Punky is extremely grateful. He cooked himself for 30 minutes this morning before rushing off to see Er Indoors and cool down. "He was BOILING," she told me.

Last night was also full of animals. We had dinner with OtherCarol and The Magician. They have two cats and a puppy so it was chaos with all three chasing all over their flat while OC & TM tried to serve dinner. 

Tiger, a ragdoll cat who has apparently not been told that his breed is mellow and easygoing was a little rascal all evening. He has learned where the cat & dog treats are kept and can pull them out of the cupboard. We didn't know this. We just heard scruffling around from the other end of the hallway and then OC cried out, "He's doing it again!"

We looked, and there was a large cat with a big floofy tail dragging bags of treats onto the floor with an eager audience of Lily the Cat and Gracie the Puppy egging him on. "Go, Tiger! Go!" they seemed to say.

I'm not sure what would happen if we were to introduce a puppy into the equation of Er Indoors, Punky, Jasper & me. I suspect it would be light on discipline and high on carnage. 

It's worth thinking about. And maybe another kitten too...
