Elizabeth Warren at Mt. Holyoke

We attended a talk by Elizabeth Warren (on a book tour) at Mt. Holyoke College this evening. It was absolutely packed, with an enthusiastic audience (some in overflow spaces).  She is the senior of our two Massachusetts Senators, elected in 2012 and strongly liberal in her views. I think it's not too strong to call her the leader of the left wing of the national Democratic party.    She's a wonderfully lively and inspiring speaker, talking about her ideals and how to realize them.   The extra shows students reacting to her humor (Mt. Holyoke remains a women's college; Marylee's 50th reunion is in a month)
