Earth Day...

.... and what a spectacular day it has been. Wall to wall sunshine and a great walk with hibou behind Leysin in Chamois country (the chamois had disappeared as a school group was in the vicinity). The tiny Alpine flowers are coming out now where the snow has melted. These are Snow Gentians. So we had distant views of the Mont Blanc Range (In extra) and glimpses of these tiny jewels lifting their heads above the dry grass. Earth Day seemed beautiful in the Alps.
