Birthday cookies

Will got a great homemade present for his birthday - a Kilner jar with the dry mix for chocolate chip cookies- just butter and egg needed. He made them this afternoon and declared them the best present ever (soz to anyone reading this who gave him a present.)

Before that there was good Operation House sorting and organising, a nice beach dog walk and a supermarket shop. The kimchi is ready, I like the flavour but have made it far too hot to actually eat. Connect 4 winner takes all knock out after dinner, the maths is complex but I think Daisy took the winners crown. Obvs surprisingly. Will brushed his hair with the dog brush after winning a couple of games and then retiring early.

And I'm popping out to the pub soon for a few drinks. And having a nice lie in tomorrow.
