Camera Shy

This little Robin was sitting on the Bramley apple tree singing his heart out whilst Alfie and I were busy in the garden, until I reached for my camera that is, and then he decided to make a quick exit.   Alfie loves the picture and said that I had promise to blip it, so not going back on a promise, here we have a Robin in flight.
The extra is my first sighting of the Swallows for 2017, they were resting on the electricity wires across the river.   Not a great photograph but one for the record.
I'm told that this is my 1000th blip, it should have been July last year, but I took a break for 9 months due to lack of time and other commitments but I'm back and although I don't manage a photo a day I generally log on to Blip Foto at some stage during the day to look at your journals, leave hearts and stars and comment if I'm able to.  
I'd like to say a huge thank you to you all for your support, encouragement, patience and comments over the last 999 blips.   Every one is greatly appreciated, Blip Foto is a super community and I'm so pleased that we are still one big happy family.
