Favourite scene, favourite season

This morning I did the parkrun and got a PB for this year. Still 17 seconds slower than my overall PB though which I think I got when I nearly made myself physically sick trying to beat Tim. Clearly I need a competitor. That's it now, just a gentle little run on Monday and then a week of yoga and carbs. I overheard some conversation at the start line today about Oswestry being a steady incline for the whole first half. I suppose I should be grateful as that presumably means a lovely downhill for the final half.

The rest of the day was spent rewarding myself by eating delicious food, sitting in the glorious sunshine, reading outdoors and taking in the beautiful quarry park. I love it at this time of year when the whole place bursts into colour and the river is full of activity.
