And they're off!

Tam and Jim took part in the Anniversary Waltz fell race today 12 miles and I shudder to think how much assent! Anyway they both lived to disappear out this evening to meet fellow members of Calder Valley Fell Runners. My main photo shows the start (Tam is in a blue top just left of centre) the extra is the decent after they have already run up and over Robinson, Hindscarf, Dale head, Maidenmoor and Catbells! We waited on Catbells and handed out encouragement and Percy Pigs - which are a rather weird M and S sweet which is apparently a preferred energy boost for certain members of CVFRs. Who'd have thought it?

We met NLN (Pauline) who had been manning a checkpoint and who (of course) recognised Chloe first!
