Two of Life's Necessities: Food & Books!

We drove back to Connecticut this morning for a week or so.  About half way between Boston and our Bridgewater home, there's a great little casual diner called The Traveler.  When you walk inside, you are surrounded by books on all subjects, which you can browse through and read as you enjoy your meal.  Every restaurant patron is entitled to take three books away with them for free!  As you can see from the parking lot, it's a very popular spot.

We picked up BB and Mabel from the kennel, where they've been incarcerated since April 5th.  They were very, very happy to see us, and all we could see of them when we got to the kennel was a blur of whirling fur!  When we got home, and I had a chance to really look at Mabel, I was shocked and surprised to find that she's suddenly missing an awful lot of hair ... mostly on her sides.  I have no idea what that is all about, but a trip to the vet on Monday will hopefully provide some answers.
