More like it

Life is beginning to return to normal when the girl begins to dance around the house again. It's been nice to see some katie-ness slipping back again. That said, by 830 am we'd two hours of stroppy and attitude and I had cancelled our plans for the day. I said that if we had a good morning I'd consider doing half the plan for the afternoon. That didn't happen either. By 2,15 we had tucked her up in my bed and she slept for nearly 2hours.

I had a couple of parcels arrive during the day. One of them was a couple of very pretty accessories for her clarinet. Its been generally a pretty bum holiday for her and I didn't like knowing I was saving a smile-opportunity. So I gave them to her after some clarinet practise and got the anticipated smiles. The second parcel was the arrival of Ballerina on DVD. She'd cried several times at it on the big screen but came away thinking she loved it. Watching it at home she absolutely loved it.

It took til 9pm to get her to bed!
