My winner...

We went to the country show in Timperley this morning. Amazing exhibition of homegrown veg and flowers. This bouquet of wild flowers unfortunately got totally overlooked by the judges, but to me it is a winner! I like the simplicity compared to its pompous dahlia rivals.....

We sneaked a quick stop at the courtyard cafe on the way home, before spending the rest of the afternoon in the garden. Much needed after a day like yesterday!
