Roll on, hip replacement!

I've been loaned equipment by the NHS for the aftermath of my hip replacement which is happening on 20th September. I now have a raised bed and a raised chair, both using blocks under the feet/castors - and this splendid toilet seat and frame! The good thing is that everything will be going back and I will be walking about much better than now, hopefully pain-free.

This isn't my first toilet blip - I have lowered the tone in Blip-land a few times before, such as here and here.

Yesterday's blip was a clematis seed head - I'm sure you all knew that anyway...
