A Sea of Leaves

This is a part of the year that is really pretty BUT it has a dark side if you have a lawn and a tree. We have both but a recent bit of technology may alter The Boss’s outlook.
Some months ago when our old petrol mower thingie karked ……”to kark it" is frequently heard. It sounds similar to "to croak", a slang term for "to die" sometimes heard in the UK….  Ok 
Errrr…where was I…Oh yes well he replaced it with an battery electric one. It was lovely and quiet AND does a fantastic job of picking up leaves.
(Explanatory note…It is also way easier for The Bossess to …..)


This pic is in the park where we live so the leaves here just get blown about and redistributed for others to enjoy.

While all this was going on and he was having a “breather” with his camera, a butterfly thingie favoured his boot and became todays extra. Does anyone know what sort it is?
