New hope

I have discovered new shoots on a small eucalyptus tree that I thought was dying after we had the very heavy rain for days on end back in March. The overflow pit from my rain water tank caused this area to become extremely wet and some native plants have died from having their roots waterlogged. This little tree had started shedding leaves at its extremities but I waited and hoped and now am delighted to discover new leaves emerging.
