Cock Pheasant.

You may have noticed but birds/ornithology figures largely in my life.  I am not sure if my current flock (pun intended) of blips of birds is due to my interest, laziness or because they are such beautiful creatures.

This Cock Pheasant strutting round the garden was impressive in the sunlight.  The females have virtually disappeared I assume being tight on their nests.

The other cock which made occasional appearances seems to have been moved on to find his own territory.   So we will have quiet time as regard Pheasants until one or more of the hens starts to bring her chicks with her.
