The London Marathon 2017.

I am on my train back home after a fantastic day at The London Marathon. I have cheered and handed out water between 9:30 and 2:30, continually in awe of the amazing runners of all age and abilities. I marvelled at the speed of the elite runners, the strength of the wheelchair racers, the determination of the charity runners and had my heart thoroughly warmed by the generosity of spirit on display.

Exceptionally proud to have been part of the first mental health marathon, championing the ideology that it's ok to say you need help or that you're suffering from mental illness. We should not be ashamed, yet so often, myself included, we are.
