George and the Dragon

There is a retired local public house, previously called The George Inn which used to be a Pilgrims Hostel, parts of which date back to 14th Century.  The are 4 similar carvings of a dragon.

I saw these carvings a few weeks ago and have had to wait until today before blipping.
