Tower of London

Here I am, at the Tower of London. I spent almost 3 hours wandering around, doing a guided tour, and learning. It was amazing. I couldn't ever have gotten this much out of the visit with my two girls in tow, so for this rare opportunity to indulge in one of my favourite pastimes (visiting stately homes and ancient dwellings) I am grateful.
When I got back to the hotel, I skyped with Austen and T which made me feel less lonely.

(A quick note to my English family: I am so sorry I can't fit in a visit. If I wasn't filled with anxiety about leaving my girls for the first extended period of time, I would have added a day or two onto the trip...)
