More Cake For Me

That’s the name of this rock face at Eridge Rocks.  Lots of climbers around today. They are allowed to climb here but they are not allowed to use chalk, apparently it changes the pH of the rock which destroys the rare mosses and lichens.  And if they do climb here they are not allowed to remove any mosses or lichens even if it looks like green slime. The entire rock face appeared to be covered in green slime to me!  I liked the name of the rock, the little ridges going in different direction and all the little holes. Perhaps if a geologist reads this they will tell me how the ridges and holes got there.

Bluebells everywhere and few deer crossed my path. Mr P was off searching for a missing person.  He volunteers for Kent Search & Rescue. A young male adult had gone missing after a “rave”.
