Emerging Alium

The kids both declined to go to Junior Parkrun this morning as they were tired. When Jim went downstairs they were snuggled up on the sofa in the conservatory reading.

N&P came to collect C just as W and I were leaving for Bishops Stortford. We arrived in plenty of time. The games were played on proper Mini red size courts, which completely threw Will in the first game and a half, he couldn't get his serve right at all. However he enjoyed every match and won three of the four and so was very chuffed. Hitchin lost overall 9-7 but it was close.

The rest of the day was spent doing random jobs around the house. C did the St. George's Day Parade with Brownies. W was cross to have missed it but I don't think we would have made it back in time even if we hadn't stayed for food after the match.

So a busy week over. Next weekend we are back to ballet on Sundays.
