Comfort Food

My Mammy used to make this for us all the time! There was always something else besides custard - canned peaches, cake, dumpling, PRUNES!, cherries, ginger snaps, battenberg, you name it! It was always a surprise at the bottom of the bowl. Give anything to have my Mum make it for me again!
