Bird Watching Day

It rained and rained all morning nearly 2 inches.  So we took it easy, watched some HBO documentaries and in the afternoon when the sun came out and the air was dry we visited a couple of Wildlife Refuges.  Lots and lots of birds and one alligator, several turtles and some fish.  There were supposed to be wild pigs and bobcats and even snakes but we didn't see them and I'm really okay with it.  

In the photo above, there is what I believe are 2 osprey in the nest, a Wood Stork, a bromeliad (air plant) growing on the side of the cypress tree and a great blue heron.

The day turned out to be stellar and we visited Sanibel and Captiva islands again.
