Dubai, Jumeirah Beach

We finally arrived in Dubai after what seemed like an interminable journey.  The stunning airport was just a little bit different from our experience in Melbourne:  we quickly got taxis to our hotel, lady drivers, comfortable cars and very reasonable prices.
This is a very hasty shot from our hotel early this evening.  So tired now that I'll add to/edit my journal at a later date.
