Burning ..........

Sunset took me by surprise tonight . I was putting some laundry away, and looked out to see a wonderful sky developing. By the time I had run downstairs, grabbed my camera and dashed outside, it was too late to go anywhere except stand in the road and point and press . Five minutes later it had vanished , with only the photos to prove it had happened. Note to myself , to be more prepared on these nice late summer evenings. Sunsets really are my thing, I just love them , the colours the swiftness, the changing light.
Today has been lovely, not scorching, but certainly warm enough to sit out and relax. Here's hoping for a repeat tomorrow.
