Rocky
So, anyway, .... I had noticed small cone shaped holes in the back yard and the trash next door was scattered about one morning. And I suspected we had acquired a new resident in the neighborhood.
So.... I went to the local animal shelter and asked if they might have a live trap I could set out to capture the little bugger. Whatever he was, be it a skunk, an opossum, or a raccoon.
They were understanding about my problem and said that they indeed had a trap I could use. When I asked where to put the captured critter when I brought it back they said, "No, no, no. The animal is yours to deal with. Don't bring it here!"
As you can see, I caught a raccoon (and, for some reason, I immediately started calling it Rocky in my head) that then had to be transported to a country living setting where it could live out its life as nature intended.
So...... I took it up by my brother-in-law's house and let it go.
Its OK......he lives in the country and doesn't know that I caught a raccoon.
