Mono Monday: Stone

There is a story behind this wee stone. It was given to me by a Brazilian friend on the occasion of my retirement in 2013. We were staying with another Brazilian friend in her house in East Hampton NY, USA and we had a lovely last evening around the dinner table, a beautiful memory.
Sadly our friend has moved to Manchester by the Sea in Massachusetts, sad for us that is as we were so fond of her beautiful house in The Hamptons. However, we hope to visit her in her new home at some point in the future.
This stone sits proudly in my office as a reminder of time spent with good friends.

Good friends are hard to find
