Morning Calm
A part from having to wait for my fellow walkers alongside the grammar school kids waiting for the school bus, so glad it's not me, this morning's walk was like an oasis of calm.
One minute sunny, next drizzling but still a pleasant interlude through Low Park, up Blind Lane and back through the St Ives Estate. We took this somewhat less used path fir us down through the woods and I was struck by the wonderful shapes of the trees in amongst the rocks.
Back home the decorator had arrived and was already stripping the dining room. Later the heating engineer arrived and made a start turning things upside down on the landing and in our bedroom. Poor Bluebell thought she had found a retreat in there! One funny moment was when the Peacock took a fancy to the engineers van.
I was quite pleased to have an eye appt at Airedale hospital this afternoon. I'm back and they're still here. Don't know where the cat is!
