Carpe Diem

This cherry tree was planted by a group of neighbours a good few years ago in memory of our friend J who died far too young. J was a wonderful person - a talented artist, singer, musician and cook among many other talents and qualities. I still miss her riotous laugh and down-to-earthness.

Cameraman Blipped the same tree nearly two years ago after the funeral of another friend who died young.

I'm not feeling particularly mournful today but carpe diem is a good thing to remember
