Back To My Roots

Some may laugh when they read a report of a great day in Swinton. I love this place.  Born here ,it's special. Above you can see the amazing town hall and St Peter's Parish Church where I was baptized and confirmed .The gardens around the town hall are always lovely and were full of starlings feasting fast and furiously .A walk around the precinct was like old times and then into Asda for a mini shop ...plus a new kind of milk shake .( see extra ) You could choose how thick it should be . Fabulous .It started to get chilly but the sun still shone.Back in Manchester it was a must call to see the Majestics (extra) He was standing with her .Reason being a rogue swan .( not my favourite bird as they often bully and attack other birds .) Later  who should we meet but the Avian Richard III .As noisy as ever .Lovely to see & hear him .Paradise is so easy to find .
