I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud
It was a nippy wind this morning.
Lovely in the sun and out of the wind though.
There were signs of spring -- Honest(l)y.
But there was menace in the building clouds.
Hailstones - the size of large, frozen, garden peas .......... and they didn't half sting! The Cygnet was complaining about them hurting walking back from the school - and he wasn't out in the worst of it!
What is it bears do in the woods?
Spit their dummies out prechance?
I hope this wee tree makes it. The log it is in faces into the prevailing wind so will catch everything.
This rowan, despite having a number of branches cut off is determined to survive.
I blame Bags for the bad weather - she is having her windows changed and as everyone knows......windows only get replaced in crappy weather, cold weather.
A word of warning ....... it will take two or three days to change the windows and doors so you can expect the rubbish weather to last about the same time.
