Amongst other constituency engagements today I visited the Tullich Water Works just outside Oban where Scottish Water and its partner ESD are building a much larger replacement plant using some fascinating digital 3D and augmented reality techniques for streamlining ( in fact revolutionizing) the planning for, and construction of, the complex buildings and the equipment within them.

Tullich sits on the top of an exposed hill so it was very cold when we were out and about and there were frequent snow showers. But when the sun emerged there were great views to be had which contrasted, as this one does, the work being done with the distant view of the town and the surrounding countryside.
