Greater Scaup Ducks....

....were having a nice swim and doing a little diving in Lake Simcoe today. I was up in Keswick today on a teaching assignment and dropped by the lake before going home. Have not seen these migrating birds before as some spend their winter on the East coast and fly north west up to James Bay and across towards Alaska. Was a beautiful sunny afternoon and even the Canada Geese seem to enjoy the waterfront view....see extras.
